# Community Guidelines

Forex Masters is a learning-first community for traders building skill, discipline, and independent judgment.

Markets can create strong opinions, emotional reactions, and pressure to act quickly. Our community exists to slow that down: to help members exchange ideas, study process, review decisions, and improve responsibly.

By participating in community channels, discussions, replies, and shared content, you agree to follow these guidelines.

<Note>
  Forex Masters provides education, market analysis tools, and peer discussion spaces. Community content is not personalized financial, investment, legal, tax, or broker advice. Every member remains responsible for their own trading decisions and risk.
</Note>

## Our community standard

We expect every member to contribute in a way that is:

* **Respectful** — address ideas without attacking people.
* **Constructive** — explain your reasoning, ask useful questions, and help others learn.
* **Honest** — share results, experience, and uncertainty accurately.
* **Responsible** — prioritize risk awareness over hype, urgency, or certainty.
* **Private by default** — protect your own sensitive information and respect that of others.
* **Learning-oriented** — focus on process, evidence, and improvement rather than status or short-term outcomes.

> A good contribution helps another trader think more clearly—not feel pressured to copy a trade.

## Participate like a professional

### Share analysis, not commands

You are welcome to discuss market structure, macro context, trade journals, risk frameworks, lessons, and educational hypotheses. When sharing a setup or trade idea, make clear that it is your own analysis.

Use language that communicates uncertainty and personal responsibility:

| Prefer | Avoid |
| - | - |
| “My current bias is…” | “This pair will definitely…” |
| “I am watching this level because…” | “Buy now—guaranteed move.” |
| “This setup is invalidated if…” | “No stop loss needed.” |
| “This is how I managed my risk…” | “Copy my position size.” |
| “What would invalidate this idea?” | “Anyone bearish is wrong.” |

<Warning>
  Do not present trade ideas, signals, performance claims, or AI-generated content as guaranteed outcomes. No strategy, indicator, mentor, community member, or tool can eliminate market risk.
</Warning>

### Explain the process

High-quality posts generally include context. If you share a chart, trade review, or market thesis, consider including:

1. **Instrument and timeframe** — for example, EUR/USD on the 1-hour chart.
2. **Market context** — trend, range, session, liquidity condition, or relevant event risk.
3. **Reasoning** — the structure, level, catalyst, or rule behind the idea.
4. **Invalidation** — what would make the thesis wrong.
5. **Risk framing** — how risk is being limited, not only the potential reward.
6. **Learning outcome** — what you are testing, reviewing, or improving.

<Accordion title="Example: a constructive trade-review post">
  **Instrument:** GBP/USD, 15-minute chart\
  **Context:** Price is reacting from a higher-timeframe supply area after London-session expansion.\
  **Idea:** I am observing whether a liquidity sweep is followed by a confirmed market-structure shift before considering any entry.\
  **Invalidation:** A sustained close above the marked zone would invalidate my short thesis.\
  **Risk:** This is an educational review of my process; position sizing and execution remain personal decisions.\
  **Question:** What evidence would you require before treating the sweep as valid?
</Accordion>

## Be respectful and inclusive

Disagreement is normal in trading. Personal attacks are not.

Treat all members with dignity, regardless of experience level, account size, geography, language, trading style, or market view.

The following are not acceptable:

* Harassment, bullying, intimidation, threats, or targeted hostility.
* Hate speech, discriminatory language, or content targeting protected characteristics.
* Insults, ridicule, name-calling, or repeated bad-faith provocation.
* Doxxing, stalking, impersonation, or sharing another person’s private information.
* Sexual, graphic, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate content.
* Deliberately disrupting discussions, including repeated off-topic posting or inflammatory behavior.

<Note>
  Challenge a chart, assumption, or process—not the person who posted it. “What evidence supports that level?” is useful. “You clearly know nothing” is not.
</Note>

## Trade responsibly

Forex trading involves substantial risk. Community participation must reinforce disciplined decision-making rather than encourage harmful behavior.

### Do

* Discuss risk, invalidation, drawdowns, and uncertainty openly.
* Encourage members to use an appropriate risk-management process.
* Remind newer traders to study before acting.
* Share losses and mistakes as learning opportunities when you are comfortable doing so.
* Pause discussions during emotionally charged moments and return to evidence.

### Do not

* Encourage excessive leverage, revenge trading, averaging down without a defined plan, or trading beyond a member’s means.
* Pressure anyone to enter, exit, hold, or increase a position.
* Promote “risk-free,” “guaranteed,” or certain-profit opportunities.
* Shame members for using small position sizes, sitting out, taking a loss, or following their risk rules.
* Exploit fear around economic news, volatility, withdrawals, prop-firm evaluations, or account losses.

## Keep the community safe from scams and manipulation

Financial communities are common targets for fraud, impersonation, and misleading promotions. Be careful with any request involving money, account access, credentials, or off-platform contact.

Never post or request:

* Passwords, authentication codes, API keys, wallet seed phrases, or recovery phrases.
* Broker login credentials, account statements containing sensitive identifiers, or payment details.
* Personal identity documents, addresses, phone numbers, or private correspondence.
* Requests to send money, cryptocurrency, deposits, “activation fees,” or account-management payments.
* Guaranteed returns, managed-account offers, copy-trading solicitations, or unverified investment schemes.
* Referral links, affiliate promotions, paid signals, or commercial solicitations where they are not explicitly permitted.
* Links, downloads, scripts, or files presented as trading tools when their source and safety cannot be verified.

<Warning>
  Forex Masters staff and legitimate platform communications will never ask you to share a password, verification code, recovery phrase, or private payment credential in a community discussion.
</Warning>

If an offer feels urgent, secretive, unusually profitable, or dependent on moving the conversation elsewhere, do not engage. Report it.

## Keep discussions useful

Each channel may have a specific purpose. Before posting, check whether your topic belongs there and search for an existing discussion when appropriate.

### Good community habits

* Use descriptive titles and clear questions.
* Keep replies relevant to the original topic.
* Credit original authors, analysts, and sources.
* Label opinions, hypotheses, and AI-assisted drafts clearly.
* Use screenshots or charts responsibly and remove sensitive account information.
* Avoid repetitive posts, excessive tagging, and all-caps urgency.
* Move personal support matters or account-specific issues to the appropriate support channel.

### Content we may remove

To preserve a focused learning environment, the following may be removed or limited:

* Spam, engagement bait, repetitive self-promotion, or irrelevant links.
* Unlicensed or infringing material, including copied paid courses or proprietary research.
* Misleading screenshots, fabricated results, altered performance claims, or undisclosed affiliate relationships.
* Content designed to manipulate sentiment, create panic, or coordinate market behavior.
* Posts that bypass platform safety measures or encourage others to do so.
* Content that violates applicable law, platform terms, or these guidelines.

## AI-assisted content

Forex Masters includes AI-powered learning and analysis experiences. AI can help structure ideas, explain concepts, and support reflection, but it can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong.

When sharing AI-assisted content:

* Review it before posting.
* Verify factual claims, price-sensitive statements, and cited sources.
* Do not represent generated content as verified professional advice.
* Do not submit another member’s private content to an external AI service without their permission.
* Do not use AI to impersonate another person, fabricate performance, or generate abusive content.
* Preserve your own judgment: an AI response is a starting point for analysis, not an execution instruction.

<Note>
  The strongest use of AI in the community is educational: clarifying a concept, organizing a journal review, identifying questions, or testing the logic of a thesis.
</Note>

## Protect privacy and intellectual property

Only share content that you have the right to share.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Remove sensitive information">
    Before uploading charts, journals, or screenshots, remove account numbers, broker credentials, personal contact details, and identifying financial information.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Ask before sharing someone else’s content">
    Obtain permission before reposting a member’s analysis, direct messages, images, or identifiable information.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Attribute your sources">
    Credit original authors and link to sources when quoting research, educational materials, news, or third-party analysis.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Respect restricted material">
    Do not reproduce paid content, proprietary research, course recordings, or materials you are not authorized to distribute.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Reporting a concern

If you see content that may violate these guidelines, use the available reporting controls or contact the appropriate Forex Masters support or moderation channel.

Include, where possible:

* A link to the message or channel.
* A concise description of the concern.
* Relevant screenshots or context.
* Whether there is an immediate safety, privacy, fraud, or impersonation risk.

Do not publicly escalate conflicts or organize harassment against another member. Reporting helps moderators review the issue fairly and with context.

<Accordion title="When should I report something immediately?">
  Report immediately if you see suspected fraud, credential requests, impersonation, threats, doxxing, harassment, self-harm threats, illegal activity, or content that appears designed to cause financial harm through deception.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="What if I disagree with a market opinion?">
  A disagreement alone is not a guideline violation. Respond with reasoning, evidence, and respectful questions—or choose not to engage. Report behavior only when it crosses into abuse, manipulation, scams, or another policy concern.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="Can I share a broker, tool, course, or service?">
  Share only where channel rules permit it, disclose any financial relationship or affiliate connection, and never make misleading claims. Unsolicited promotion, referral solicitation, paid signal advertising, and pressure-based selling are not allowed.
</Accordion>

## Moderation and enforcement

Forex Masters may review reported content and take action to protect members and the integrity of the community. Depending on the behavior, context, severity, and prior history, actions may include:

1. Educational guidance or a reminder of the guidelines.
2. Content edits, removal, or reduced visibility.
3. A formal warning.
4. Temporary restrictions on posting or community access.
5. Suspension or permanent removal from community spaces.
6. Escalation where required to address safety, legal, or platform-security concerns.

Moderation decisions are intended to be proportionate and protective. Serious violations—including fraud, credible threats, repeated harassment, impersonation, or attempts to compromise member security—may result in immediate action.

<Warning>
  Creating alternate accounts, asking others to evade restrictions, or attempting to bypass moderation controls may lead to broader account action.
</Warning>

## A final principle

The market rewards neither loudness nor certainty. A durable trading community is built through patience, accountability, evidence, and respect.

Bring questions. Share your process. Admit uncertainty. Protect your risk. Help others become more independent—not more dependent.

By doing so, you help make Forex Masters a stronger place to learn and trade with discipline.
