The Anatomy of a Candlestick
Candlestick charts are the backbone of technical analysis. Each candle provides four key data points for a specific timeframe:- Open: The first traded price during the period.
- High: The highest price reached.
- Low: The lowest price reached.
- Close: The final traded price.
Bullish Candle (Green)
The Close is higher than the Open, indicating buying pressure.
Bearish Candle (Red)
The Close is lower than the Open, indicating selling pressure.
