Managing Files

The Vault is your private research library inside Forex Masters. Use it to keep the evidence behind your trading decisions—chart screenshots, trade reviews, market notes, PDFs, and AI-generated insights—organized and available when you need it. A disciplined Vault turns isolated observations into a repeatable trading process.
The Vault supports both platform intelligence and your personal materials. Your private uploads, notes, and saved items are associated with your account and should be treated as part of your trading record.

Store evidence

Save chart screenshots, research documents, trade-review materials, and written observations in one place.

Find context quickly

Use search, tags, and filters to recover the information behind an idea or trading decision.

Build a process

Group related material by pair, setup, session, market event, or review period.

Use with AI

Reference relevant Vault material during supported AI workflows to provide additional context for analysis and coaching.

Vault content types

The Vault can contain different kinds of research and reference material. Depending on your workspace and access level, you may see a combination of personal and platform-provided items.
The Vault is a research and organization tool. Files, AI summaries, and saved insights are educational context—not trade signals, execution instructions, or a guarantee of market outcomes.

Saving AI Context

The Vault is automatically populated when you save important insights, strategies, or concepts during your interactions with Xeven. Rather than manually uploading files, you curate your Vault by saving the intelligence that matters to your trading process.
1

Interact with Xeven

Have a conversation with the AI about a market concept or trading strategy.
2

Save to Vault

Click the Save to Vault action on a valuable AI response.
3

Organize in Vault Explorer

Open the Vault to view your saved items, categorized automatically by protocol (Concept, Strategy, Pattern, etc.).

Organize your research

The strongest Vaults are organized around decisions and recurring processes, not around random uploads. Choose a structure that matches how you review markets.
Create a consistent group of evidence for each setup, such as liquidity sweep, market structure shift, range expansion, or continuation entry. Include examples, invalidations, trade reviews, and lessons learned.
Keep recurring research for a pair such as EUR/USD, GBP/USD, or XAU/USD together. This works well when you specialize in a limited watchlist.
Organize files into daily preparation, weekly review, monthly performance review, and quarterly process review. This model is especially useful for building consistency.
Group pre-event plans, event notes, chart reactions, and post-event reviews around high-impact releases such as FOMC decisions, CPI, NFP, or central-bank statements.

Use tags as retrieval keys

Tags make a file useful after the original context has faded. Apply a small, repeatable tag vocabulary rather than creating new variations every time. For example:
  • Instrument: EURUSD, GBPUSD, XAUUSD
  • Setup: liquidity-sweep, market-structure-shift, range
  • Session: london, new-york, asia
  • Review state: pre-market, executed, reviewed, lesson
  • Market condition: high-impact-news, trend, consolidation
Use the same spelling and format for recurring tags. London, london-session, and LDN may describe the same idea, but inconsistent labels make search less reliable.

Search and filter items

Use search when you know what you need, and filters when you need to narrow a broad library.

Search effectively

Search uses fuzzy matching across your saved Vault items. Search using the most distinctive part of the item:
  • A concept name: liquidity sweep
  • A strategy term: mean reversion
  • A specific asset or tool: fibonacci

Filter before browsing

When your Vault grows, use the protocol tabs to quickly narrow your view:
  1. Protocol Tabs: Filter by Concept, Strategy, Pattern, Quiz, or Scenario.
  2. Bookmarks Only: Toggle the bookmark view to see only the items you’ve explicitly pinned for immediate access.

Batch Operations and Bookmarks

You can select multiple items in the Vault Explorer to perform batch operations, such as bookmarking several items at once.
1

Enable selection

Click the checkbox on Vault items to enter selection mode.
2

Select multiple items

Choose all the items you want to update.
3

Batch Bookmark

Use the batch action bar to bookmark or unbookmark all selected items simultaneously.

Save research from the workspace

When you find something worth preserving during analysis, save it while its context is still clear. Good candidates include:
  • A chart showing the setup you expected and the setup that actually formed
  • A before-and-after screenshot of entry, management, and exit
  • A pre-market plan with defined invalidation
  • A post-trade reflection explaining adherence or deviation from your rules
  • A high-impact event summary and its effect on your watchlist
  • An AI explanation or educational insight you want to revisit
A screenshot without context becomes difficult to use later. Add a short note explaining the instrument, timeframe, setup, session, thesis, invalidation, and outcome.

Connect files to your trading process

The Vault is most valuable when it supports a repeatable review loop.

Before the session

Save preparation notes, key levels, economic-event plans, and scenario maps.

During analysis

Capture chart evidence and annotate what confirms or invalidates your thesis.

After the trade

Store the review: outcome, process quality, emotional state, rule adherence, and next lesson.

Example: a complete trade-review record

A high-quality review folder or tag group for one trade might contain:
  1. A pre-trade chart with marked zones and invalidation.
  2. A short written thesis explaining the setup.
  3. A screenshot at entry and one at exit.
  4. A note on risk, execution, and management decisions.
  5. A conclusion describing whether the process was followed—regardless of profit or loss.
This approach keeps your evaluation focused on process quality rather than a single outcome.

Use Vault material with AI

In supported Forex Masters AI experiences, you may be able to reference Vault content as additional context. This can help the assistant understand the research, chart evidence, or review material you want to discuss. When sharing Vault context with AI:
  • Select only the material relevant to the question.
  • Explain what you want reviewed or clarified.
  • Separate facts from your interpretation.
  • Ask for process-focused feedback, such as whether your thesis, risk logic, or review structure is internally consistent.
  • Verify all conclusions independently before acting in live markets.
Do not upload or provide credentials, broker passwords, API keys, government identification, payment data, or other highly sensitive information. Do not treat AI output as personalized investment advice or an instruction to place a trade.

Delete and restore responsibly

Delete files that are duplicates, irrelevant, incorrectly uploaded, or no longer appropriate to retain. Before deletion, consider whether the item contributes to an open trade review, ongoing learning record, or recurring setup library.
1

Open the item menu

Locate the file or note you want to remove in The Vault.
2

Confirm the item

Review the title and preview carefully, especially when similar files exist.
3

Choose Delete

Use the available delete action and confirm the prompt.
4

Review related references

If the item was used in a note, workspace, or AI discussion, ensure those references still make sense without it.
Deletion may remove the item from your Vault and can affect its availability in related workflows. If an item is part of a meaningful trade review or learning record, consider preserving a final version before deleting it.

Privacy and account security

Your Vault can contain sensitive trading behavior, personal observations, performance information, and broker-related research. Protect it accordingly.
  • Access Forex Masters only from trusted devices and networks.
  • Sign out of shared devices after use.
  • Avoid uploading account credentials, identity documents, payment information, or private third-party data.
  • Review files before sharing screens or exporting materials.
  • Use descriptive organization without exposing unnecessary sensitive details in filenames.
  • Contact support if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Vault organization improves retrieval, but it does not replace your responsibility to maintain secure records, validate market information, and follow applicable laws, broker requirements, and risk controls.

Troubleshooting

Refresh the Vault and confirm that the upload completed. Check active filters and search terms, as a newly uploaded file may be hidden by the current view. If the issue persists, retry the upload with a clear filename and confirm your connection is stable.
Clear restrictive filters, search by a distinctive filename term or tag, and check recent items. If the file was renamed, search by its instrument, setup, event, or review category instead of its original filename.
Confirm that the upload completed successfully and that the original file is not corrupted. Some file formats may be stored without an in-app preview. Download or open the original file with a compatible application where available.
Rename the incorrect file clearly, replace or upload the intended version, then delete the incorrect item only after confirming that the correct version is accessible.
Verify that you are signed into the correct account and that the item belongs to your personal Vault. Platform-provided intelligence may have different editing or deletion permissions.

A practical Vault maintenance routine

Keep your Vault useful by reviewing it regularly. A well-managed Vault should make it easier to answer essential questions:
  • What evidence supported this trade?
  • Have I seen this setup before?
  • Did I follow my defined process?
  • What conditions produce my best and worst decisions?
  • What should I review before taking a similar opportunity again?
